Ep48: Single Leg Training
Tuesday Apr 14, 2020
Tuesday Apr 14, 2020
Single leg training involves placing one foot on a block or away from the pedals and (for our discussion) completing VO2max intervals with the other leg. Jason presents four studies on this topic and our hosts debate the efficacy of the training method.
Show Notes:
The protocol used in the second study ("Single-leg cycle training...") is the one recommended if you would like to try single leg training yourself. Don't worry about the counterweight.

Ep47: Making Progress While Stuck At Home
Tuesday Apr 07, 2020
Tuesday Apr 07, 2020
Today, Todd and Jason debate the three most important things a cyclist can do when they can't leave their home. A lot of us are stuck inside due to government guidelines to 'shelter-in-place'; how do we continue to grow as cyclists when going out for a ride is out of the question. This discussion should extrapolate to traveling for work, bike repair issues, and other long term events that keep you off the bike.
