Our first episode of the Performance Cycling Podcast explores nutrition during races and mobility self assessments.
Nutrition is vitally important to success of races over lengths of about 60 minutes. We discuss some strategies used and goals as a rider for eating, hydrating and ensuring their fuel stores are maximized for racing.
Mobility is also key component to a good athlete and cyclist. The ability to be flexible and mobile can help reduce common cycling pain areas (back and knees) and also improve power on the bike. We discuss a few ways individuals can check their mobility and move towards a more flexible body.
